IN:NATURE ONE-TO-ONE CREATIVE SESSIONS
Creativity-Focused, Nature-Based, Alternative Therapy Sessions Across Mid Wales, Snowdonia, North Wales, and Shropshire.

Step away from the noise of your everyday life and into the calm and peaceful world of Nature. My Nature-based, creative sessions offer a gentle, grounding alternative to traditional therapy, where healing meets creativity and personal growth beneath ancient trees and open skies.
Rooted in the ancient healing powers of Nature and creative self-expression, these private sessions blend guided mindfulness with creative practices like photography, journaling, and sensory exploration. Weave in some gentle, open-minded, raw, and reflective conversation, and the potential for healing and transformation is profound.
Whether you're navigating a life transition, looking to expand your mind and develop new ways of seeing and thinking, feeling creatively blocked, or simply craving a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you, this creative safe space and holistic wellbeing service is for you.
Client Testimonial:
‘‘I have learnt so much through these sessions, things about myself and the people around me that I never took notice of. I have also been pulled closer and closer to the beauty around me through every session. You have given me an opportunity to grow in so many ways. You've also given me a chance to practice my photography and my creative writing. I never thought I'd be sitting here today with a book full of poems and songs, and a camera filled with not only beautiful pictures, but beautiful memories.’’
— Alix, Workshop Attendee

Why Choose Creativity as a Pathway to Healing?
It is through creativity that I have learned to make sense of my life's journey. Through the images I capture, the words I write, and the quiet observation that has become my practice, I tap into the part of myself that doesn't speak through words alone. When I am immersed in creative expression, my senses awaken and my mind settles, and somehow I manage to bypass that relentless inner critic that has followed me for so many years.
Creativity invites curiosity and wonder back into my life. It allows me to safely explore my inner world of thoughts and feelings, and understand what is waiting to emerge from the depths of my soul. This practice has become my way of discovering who I am beyond who I think I should be—beyond the conditioning that a world which often doesn't value uniqueness and authentic expression has placed upon me.
How Nature Holds Us as We Heal and Grow
I've come to understand that the most meaningful healing rarely occurs within the confines of therapy rooms or clinical spaces. Instead, it unfolds beneath a canopy of autumn leaves, with our hands wrapped around a warm mug, our feet connecting with the earth, and a pen or camera serving as our companion whilst the symphony of birdsong quiets our restless minds and the ancient trees hold space for our souls.
There's something profound about the way Mother Nature holds us—without judgment, without expectation, without agenda. She has become my greatest healer and wisest teacher, mirroring the seasons that move through my own inner landscape. She honours the natural rhythms that my body remembers, gently reminding me that everything exists within cycles: growth, stillness, change, and renewal. When I step outside; when I surrender to her embrace, I remember that I am part of something far greater than my individual struggles—something timeless, alive, and infinite. In those precious moments, I connect with what feels ancient and sacred—numinous even.

My general well-being has improved significantly, and I have forged a tremendous sense of purpose through the creative arts.
— Brad Carr
Through these walks, we will be exploring the outer and inner worlds and studying our own unique relationship between the two, looking at ways in which we can deepen our relationships with Nature, ourselves, and each other, and co-create a more beautiful world for tomorrow.
We will use the mediums of photography and writing through journaling practices to gain deeper self-awareness and understanding, open our minds to new ways of seeing and thinking, express and uncover further parts of our authentic selves, and create beauty from our collective pain and struggles.
You are also more than welcome to use this space to express yourself in whatever way you might feel called to. Allow me and the trees to witness you in a non-judgmental, relaxed, safe space.
Immersive Nature Walks
Slow down and breathe deeply in natural settings that inspire clarity and calm. Let the trees become your therapist, offering stability, consistency, presence, awareness, and grounding. Find stillness, tune into your deeper self, and observe many of the subtle nuances within yourself and the landscape.
Expert Guided Photography
Learn to see the world (and yourself) differently through the lens and approach situations from many angles. No technical skills required—just lots of curiosity and a willingness to notice what calls to you and connects with your soul. Bring a camera you know well or use a mobile phone to explore the inner and outer worlds, develop your vision, express yourself, and translate stories that you hold inside.
Reflective Journaling
Words flow more easily when surrounded by trees and tuned into the sounds of birdsong that help to stop the wandering mind in its tracks. Through gentle prompts and reflective conversation, you'll tap into deep insights, access newfound, innate wisdom, and reconnect with your authentic, inner voice.
Open, Honest Conversation
Engage in deep, inspiring, and insightful conversations about many of the topics that often go unspoken through our busy lives. You’ll be guided to a place of deeper self-awareness and understanding of yourself and this existence, and find your own answers to many of the questions that you have had burning away inside for many years.
A Safe, Supportive Space
These sessions are held with patience, love, care, confidentiality, and respect. There is no judgment — just a quiet invitation to explore, tune into your senses, feel, engage in wonder, and express whatever your soul calls for you to release through creative alchemy.
