The World We All Remember
Inside each of us lies an abundant source of creative energy, yet so often we hide our gifts out of fear or self-doubt. What might our world look like if we all chose to shine without fear of judgment or further shame?
This piece invites reflection on the power of embracing our light—and visualising the collective transformation that follows when we do.
The Gift of Creativity
Why are the most creative people often the most wounded? Because creativity is a gift given to those who've had their hearts broken yet choose to remain open. When trauma shatters our sense of self, we become conduits for consciousness—allowing something far greater to flow through us. While others build strong egos and fixed beliefs, we retain the innocence needed to receive creativity's mysterious powers from the infinite unknown.
The Long Path to Acceptance
When a woman at my photography walk said the word 'acceptance' made her physically sick, I understood completely. I'd spent years as a victim of childhood trauma, hiding behind addictions and excuses. But through creative expression—photography and writing—I discovered something profound: our demons can become our teachers. Each image I create transforms pain into purpose, resentment into acceptance. This is the path from victim to victor, from darkness to light.
An Introduction to Me & Finding Light
What if your deepest wounds could become your greatest gifts? After surviving childhood trauma and learning to hide my sensitivity, heartbreak at twenty-five cracked me open to a profound truth: creativity heals. Through nature photography and writing, I transformed buried pain into purpose and became the victor over the victim.
Now, through Finding Light, I guide others on this same journey of creative alchemy — using cameras and wild spaces to reclaim the authentic, sensitive souls we were born to be. This is my invitation to step into your own healing story.
